8th Grade Activities Contract

2014-2015

In order for you to wrap up your career here at D.A.B. in a positive way, we have planned many activities for you. These activities include:

8th Grade Dinner Dance
Yearbook Signing Party
Trip to Knott’s Berry Farm.

However, your ability to participate in these events is dependent upon your grades, behavior and attendance here at school. You must meet all of the following criteria to be allowed to participate in these events:

You must have a 2.0 or higher with no more than one “F” on second semester Progress Report.
You must have satisfactory citizenship grades, no more than one “N” or “U” on Progress Report.

As of January 29th , 2015…

You must have less than 2 bus referrals/warnings in the second semester.
You must have NO truancies.
All fees including library, textbook and PE fines must be paid.
Teacher/administrator decision is final.

In regard to your behavior for the remainder of the year, starting January 29th, 2015:

You may have no more than one disciplinary consequence from now until the time of the event.
Once you have 2 disciplinary consequences (break/lunch detention, after school detention, Saturday School, on-campus suspension), one of the events will be taken away. Administration will decide which event is taken away first.
On the third disciplinary consequence, you will lose another event, and so on.
An off-campus suspension will be an automatic loss of at least one event.

We would like you to conclude this year with excellent behavior, attendance and work ethic to make this one of the best times of your life.
