On Thursday, periods 1, 3, & 5 and on Friday, periods 2,4,6 reviewed the 4.2 assignment.  Students then took notes on 4.3 and began working on the 4.3 assignment on Pgs

Thursday and Friday, students will work on an inequality matching activity!  They will solve a two/multistep inequality, match it to the correct answer and then match their solution with a matching graph!

Today we continued 4.2 & 4.3 from Monday/Tuesday.

On Monday, periods 1, 3, & 5 and on Tuesday, periods 2,4,6 reviewed the 4.1 assignment.  Students then took notes on 4.2 and began working on the 4.2 assignment on Pgs 134-135 #s 1, 2, 4, 6, 12, 14, 18-24 even, 25  and Pgs 143-145 #s 1,2,10,11,19, 20-23,, 25, 27-30, 36 which is ALL due WEDNESDAY 4/26!

Today, students will take a 7th grade district benchmark test on JUNO.  Then they will finish up any assignments from yesterday that were not complete.

Today we practiced how to solve a proportion, section 5.4.  Students were to complete the homework on pages 190-191 #s 1, 5, 7, 9, 13, 15, 18, 19, 22, 24, 25, 27 (attached).

Today we reviewed section 5.1, Rates & Unit Rates.  We completed two activities.  If you were absent, you need to complete them both.  There was the 5.1 Puzzle Activity and the Unit Rate Coloring Activity.

Today we will review our quiz from yesterday.  Then we will take notes on section 5.4, Solving Proportions!  If you are absent, I have attached them below so that you can copy them into your math notebook!

Today in class, we reviewed yesterday's 3.2 & 3.3 review sheet. We began a new lesson today on 3.4a, solving one step equations using multiplication.  Tonight's homework is on pages 106-107 #'s 9, 10, 14, 17, 24, 27, 41-45.

Today in class, students' seat assignments were changed, we talked about the quote of the week, "Be YOURSELF because and ORIGINAL is worth more than a copy", and then we reviewed section 3.1-simplifying expressions.  Tonight's homework is to complete the practice sheet that we began in class which is attached in case students need an additional copy.

In class today, we learned how to use our textbooks. We completed the attached scavenger hunt by writing page numbers on the scavenger hunt for the pages where the items were found and answering the questions it asked.

Today in class we will review dividing fractions.  The practice questions will be due at the end of the period.
