Sound familiar? It seems that middle graders are often looking for things at the last minute. This can turn your household into a noisy mess on school mornings.
Simple routines can help you began each day feeling calm and prepared.
The night before:
- Gather books, homework, P.E. clothes, backpack, and other school items in one place.
- Lay out clothes
- Pack lunch or have lunch money in backpack
- Set the alarm
In the morning:
- Eat a healthy breakfast
- Leave the house at a set time to arrive at school 10 minutes before the 1st bell rings
